Wifey (MJ) has been reading Team of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin about Lincoln and his cabinet. She's been telling tidbits here and there. This book is written like a novel, and full of great historic detail. PLUS: it's very inspiring.

I can see why our president has chosen President Lincoln as his role model. Lincoln was truly our Gandhi. Civil War and mass carnage aside (or maybe because of it), the man showed such courage, patience, and judgement. I will be reading ToR, myself.
